There are two small islands close to the South Bronx, between Randall's and Rikers Islands. Are these the North and South Brother Islands?

If not, where are these?

Was the South Brother Island ever used for anything? I believe North Brother had some sort of isolation hospital on it at one time.

What is the very small island near the Northern tip of City Island, between City and Hart Islands?

On maps, there seems to be a single land mass marked as Randall's Island in the North, and Ward's Island in the South. Were these two separate islands which have been joined at some time in the past?

MapPoint doesn't have the small islands named, but here's where they all are. Rikers, Wards and City Islands are all labeled.
