Maybe the front page would be less damned boring if you damned guys would put a damned picture of a damned projector or some damned thing on there. Dammit.
Or just put a picture of Phil, since he's probably damned already anyway.

Well Mike, I'll be damned if I understand your comment...
Posted by Mike Blakesley (Member # 26) on 01-04-2005, 11:07 PM:
It was just to get you out of hiding, Mr. Not Posting Much Lately. (it worked too!)
Posted by Phil Hill (Member # 371) on 01-05-2005, 12:47 AM:
Dear Diary: Mike is a real pain in the ass. I wish I knew why he likes me?
OBTW: I have NEVER seen ANY post that used the word "damned" as many times as his original post. I'm impressed!
Yours in Christ, Phil.

Mike just needs a hug...
*hugs*

Thanks Jen. I needed that.

Man, now the front page is REALLY boring
.
Posted by Phil Hill (Member # 371) on 01-08-2005, 06:50 PM:
I agree Dustin!
They NEED to lose that whole B O R I N G spiel under the Film-Tech logo.
I bet that dumbass Adam is responsible for that! And probably under strict orders from our Grand-Poo-BAH.

I suggest a rotating display of quotes from the "you suck" thread.
Posted by Phil Hill (Member # 371) on 01-08-2005, 09:31 PM:
...or a "Member of the Day" pic? All the members that have a pic here would get their 24 hrs of fame...
Of course, all of my member pics should be in rotation and would be displayed once a week just to keep things "honest"...
Posted by Thomas Procyk (Member # 1170) on 01-09-2005, 11:17 AM:
Go lookit the "Warm Intermittant (comments)" thread. THAT is the picture that should be on the front page.

Just wait until the bidet instructional video goes public... I hear it's a riot.
(I suppose I should watch it first before endorsing it so much.)
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 01-09-2005, 05:45 PM:
It's OK Scott but I don't think that I LOL'd.
Posted by Scott D. Neff (Member # 185) on 01-09-2005, 06:36 PM:
Hmmmm -- I'm getting mixed reviews. I'll have to find Brad online and make him send it to me.
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 01-09-2005, 06:43 PM:
Don't worry Scott, it's in the queue before ShoWest 2005 so everyone can see what you do with a bidet at the Film-Tech Drink.
Posted by Scott D. Neff (Member # 185) on 01-11-2005, 12:45 AM:
I don't know if I'm gonna be able to make it to the FT drink this year. I'm gonna go CinemaDork Florida in February, and then I'm going to NYC in June... I may not have the moooollah (or the free Southwest tix) to go to Vegas for ShoWest 2005.
But eh -- we'll see.
Meanwhile -- can you make it so that when people submit photos for the warehouse, there is at least one EXTERIOR photo? It's nice seeing the equipment and the booths, but it'd be nicer if you could tell what kind of shell all those awkward low ceilings fill at that there Rainbow Cinema just posted.
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 01-11-2005, 01:12 AM:
We request it, but people don't always have shots of the front or sometimes the lobby is overlooked.
You have to come to ShoWest this year. You will be famous for the bidet video by then.
Posted by Jennifer Pan (Member # 2035) on 01-11-2005, 03:48 AM:
Not so boring now.
Thanks Brad.

I really like the thumbnail view, it helps out a lot for those of us still stuck in the 90's with dial up.

Yeah - I need to know so I can request time off. Somebody e-mail me.

I realize that the drink will be held at ShoWest but I was wanting to know exactly where the "Drink" will be held. Does anybody know?
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 01-17-2005, 03:29 PM:
As always, plans will be posted on the site the night before it happens.
Posted by Phil Hill (Member # 371) on 01-17-2005, 04:02 PM:
Christian, I'd let you know, but Brad ***ALWAYS*** tells me the wrong place and time just so I don't make it.
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 01-17-2005, 04:56 PM:
Bally's doesn't give us a room reservation for it until around noon *the day of* (which is Wednesday). You can find out a few ways...
*Look at the forums sometime Wednesday afternoon.
*Go by the Jack Roe USA booth and inquire Wednesday afternoon.
*Go by the Kinoton booth and inquire Wednesday afternoon.
(Yes "afternoon" means just that, don't even bother asking before noon because we won't know.
)

Aren;t you still thinking of possibly having it at the Tuscany this year?
-Aaron
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 01-17-2005, 05:57 PM:
Possible yes, we'll have to see in a few weeks when I set up the booking.
Posted by Mike Blakesley (Member # 26) on 01-17-2005, 06:53 PM:
Or just wander around the hotel and sniff for sea-food being served.
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 01-17-2005, 06:57 PM:
Hmmmm, someone remembers my hatred for things swimming in their own shit in the sea!
Posted by Phil Hill (Member # 371) on 01-17-2005, 08:15 PM:
Yeah Brad, I think of you every time I see the animals waddling in their own shit when I drive past the humongous stockyard/slaughterhouse west of Amarillo Texas just south of the I-40. PEE U! Talk about swimming in their own shit! YUK! It's enuff to turn off even the Pope to beef!
