So I don't have any older pictures of me on the site yet, but I'm curious to see everyone post theirs. I know you can go through the site to get to them, but let's post em here, just for shits.

w00t! This sounds like fun! I'll start. For my Old Member, I chose my favouritest one of all, Phil Hill. Look at these pix and u will quicklee see why Phil is my favourite old member...

 -
Here we see Phil way back when he first joined Film-Tech back in 1974. Back then, it took many weeks before a reply would be added to the forums since everything was transmitted thru a teletype machine.

 -
As the years went by, so did Phil. Here he is in a picture from the mid-1980s. Film-Tech was a BBS at this point, and the time for replies was shortened to just a few days.

 -
By 1991, Phil briefly left the presence of Film-Tech to star in the children's feature, "It Cummed From Outers Space!" Unfortunatley, when the studio tried for a cutesy misspelled title, they failed to see its suggestive meaning. The film stirred up too much controversy before its release and flopped.

 -
With his acting career basically over, Phil joined the military to fight in "Gulf War Par One," hoping to become a military hero and make millions of dollars in movie deals when he gets back.

 -
With his failing career and inability to cash in on a movie deal for his war stories, Phil grew a mustache and returned to Film-Tech in 1996. By then, Film-Tech had become a busy, bustling world wide web site.

 -
Phil then gained some weight...

 -
...and went poopy in his pants! [Razz]

Any more old member pics? I would love to see...

So THAT's why you're smiling in your picture and your left hand is off camera. [Big Grin] And just what are you doing with that camcorder aimed at your lap? [Razz]

P.S. Phil...Thomas draws a MUCH better mustache than you! [Cool]

THat patch ain't a cover up.. he literally 'shot' his eye out.

As a friend once said to his wife.. it's all fun and games until someone gets an eye put out.. LOL.. (Sorry, inside joke)

Jason, I wouldn't be talking if I were you. Remember when you humped that Coke machine??

 -

And what was that quote you'd always say? Something about a rat gnawing on your cheese? That's disgusting. You ARE however sporting the "Brad Miller Look" with the hair and glaring eyes. [Smile]

Thomas -- your hair is awfully Braddish. As are those glaring eyes.

Scott, TP's current pic looks better than his old one did.

I, on the other hand, have not changed at all.

New PIC is in the works!

HAH! The hell you haven't changed!! Remember when you used to drink FilmGuard?? It appears all those chemicals made you grow that strange fuzz on your face....

And Scott, Don't get me started on YOUR "Bradness" [Wink]

Andrew: Having lived through the horrible death of a loved one from lung cancer (discussed before), I can only urge you not to start smoking. [Frown]

Fear not: I have kicked the habbit.

Floyd, that's a du Maurier king size original blend.

Anyways, back to that pic: I started smoking in Grade 9, which is a year before the red hat picture. It progressively got to be a bigger and bigger habbit. But, in November 2004 (11-13) I participated in an anti-smoking weekend put on by the Manitoba Lung Association. I had a half pack going on that trip, and on the 12th, at roughly 8:00am before mess hall breakfast, I finished my last one and haven't smoked since. I went off cold turkey, and haven't had any cravings.

My other picture had something inappropriate in it, but it kind of showed a brand new look I'm sporting currently (very strange, but unique) and Brad came to the inclusion that it shouldn't be posted, and I agreed, so I'll work on getting another one done soon!

BTW: That really stupid pic was me in Grade 6 at my elementary school. It was from a "movie" my friends and I were doing for a project, where we ended up making claymation, live action, etc. It was the only pic I had access to when the whole theatre starting thing went down, and Brad wanted proof of who I was. I actually went out that weekend and bought a scanner too, and now have a digital camera as well.

Hey Andrew... lose the cig pic... you look like a dork! Besides, I agree with the others... cigs not only will kill ya, but everything about you will stink of smoke. AND remember most, Ummm... guys, would rather smell the ***real*** YOU!

STOP SMOKING!

BTW: This is the best pic of you submitted so far:

Yes Joe?

That should've been conclusion. It was me doing the "V" with the fingers, with my tongue sticking out, and it was just a picture from some photos we took of our band members.

Here's a band picture of me:
 -
Of course, that was before my piercng and before my hair got really long (well, down to my mouth).

And Phil: I already quit! [Razz]

BTW, If anyone does crack, or is considering sniffing it, ponder this: - [Razz]

Crack cannot be sniffed. Hence the term crack ROCK. I was just commenting on what I saw in your picture, so next time ponder this, tough guy. [Razz] [Wink]

My current member photo is actually a crop from this photo:

 -

This is a photo of myself abseiling into a huge cavern in Waitomo, NZ. The stream you see below me is actually 328 ft (100m) away. So that explains why I look like a doofus with a helmet in my member photo! [Big Grin]

Thomas - Why do you keep bringing up Andrews old posts? It seems like hes your new target right now. Seriously. Cut the guy some slack. Heck, when I was 13 I wanted to own a theatre. Some twisted part of me still thinks that would be a cool idea, but I'm presently pursuing other things. At one point I even drew up an elaborate blueprint for an IMAX with a retractable dome!

Emma - THAT IS FLIPPIN AWSOME!

Everyone - If you've ever considered sniffing the purple dust that comes off of a shedding print, consider this

 - - - - -

Oh wait. Nothing changed. 'Guess it's OK to sniff that stuff.

Thomas, it was merely a "crack" at the wide eyes in your picture, hence the [Razz] ... Sorry if it offended you.

Hey, now. I wasn't making fun of him for the fact that he was 13 and wanted to open a theater. I've wanted to open a theater since about then, too. And I don't "always" bring up his old posts. This was the only time. I've considered it before, but decided only to take the opportunity when he threw that insult. So far, I haven't said ANYTHING untrue that wasn't said/done by him before. He DOES (or according to him, used to) smoke, AND did whats in that thread. I, however, don't do crack. I guess insults with substance aren't as PC with you as idle ones.

Very few things offend me. I was just bouncing the ball back in your court. You know, a crack for a crack [Razz]

If you weren't trying to start something, then why would you post all those pictures and say "ponder this transition", why would it matter if I use to smoke, and why would you bring up old posts that I'm ashamed of trying to trash me if you're not easily offended?

Children, children...STOP it! ...else I'll have to spank you!

Hello to Rich Granata.

Just as Tim Reed said... hello neighbor. Do you work in a Lehigh Valley theatre, and if so... which one?

Also, have you ever been to my Northampton theatre? If not, come on up and I'll show you around. And even if you have, come on up and I'll show you all the non public areas of the theatre.

It's good to see another Lehigh Valley resident here on Film-Tech.

I guess good ole Phil was well endowed (!) with a sense of humor so as not to be offended by the second thread in this post. *sigh* It's sad that things have to be put in the joke forum just so people will realize they're jokes.

And he's not kidding... he WILL spank you! [eyes]

Oh please... [Roll Eyes]

I made a small joke about your picture and you're the one who started over reacting, trying to humiliate me with things from the past.

Could this thread maybe be closed?

Posted by Aaron Mehocic (Member # 15) on 02-02-2005, 02:11 PM:

No, because I think its cool that Cory posted Nick Nolte's September 11, 2002 drunk driving mug. I have this picture hung on a bulletin board in our booth to remind me why I don't do three day crack/alchohol benders.

On the other side of the coin, I guess that why I show Nolte's movies instead of cashing the checks he gotten for making them. Perhaps a bender every now and then wil help "bring out my 'creative genius'". [Smile]
