These are all films where I see something new with every screening, and where I will go out of my way to see them if they are being screened at any theatre within a reasonable driving distance. I've seen them all multiple times in 35mm or 70mm.

Almost any mid-fifties radiation-altered giant mutant bug-eyed monster flick, especially those featuring the stop-motion animation work of the incomparable Ray Harryhausen: The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms and Earth vs. Flying Saucers are my personal faves, followed by Twenty Million Miles to Earth and It Came From Beneath the Sea. Also from that same genre: Them!, Forbidden Planet, The Thing From Another World, The Giant Behemoth, and many, many more. Also:

I'm glad someone else besides me mentioned "The Taking of Pelham One Two Three." That movie kicks ass in the thrills dept, has a completely plausible story (unlike most of today's thrillers), and has one of the coolest endings of any "cop movie" ever.
