Chances are that we know who is making the post by the giant, bolded name beside it. So why do some people feel the need to sign their posts? It's not a letter or even an e-mail. In fact, it's almost like signing every entry in an Instant Message or Chat Room conversation.
Later,
Joe

It is more convention, than anything...a definate conclusion. If it bothers you so much...I can certainlly stop. Of couse it will make "Post Scripts" seem silly...but you may consider them silly anyway....then again...YOU ARE silly.

It signifies that that's my story and I'm stikin' to it!

P.S. At least until I retract it or edit my post.

Maybe I should start signing my posts(even though I haven't gotten around to posting a lot).

If it helps, I don't do it because it's just too much work and I'd forget sometimes so it wouldn't be consistent...
And besides...Who wants me taking up space with: --Dom deezie fo sheezy?

How about we just use logos as signatures...

If this thread keeps going the way it is, Brad will come in and ban tags just like he banned signatures.

P.S. Super Milk Chan sucks ass!!! I want to torture a small animal whenever I hear the theme song, or so I've told my therapist.

Our signature lines used to be entered automatically but have been stopped for some reason.

Here is a direct link to that thread for ya Bob.

Thomas, I know TMP are probably your initials, but do you use it due to its badass factor thanks to the the Steyr Tactical Machine Pistol? I would sign my initials on everything if they were PPK or something.
Posted by Thomas Procyk (Member # 1170) on 01-23-2005, 10:57 AM:
I don't even know what a Tactical Machine Pistol was. Sounds like something used to kill innocent people with. Nah, it's not that.
Yes, it's just my initials. I dunno why, the letters seem to go well together. I never liked using just TP as my initials. Makes people think of toilet paper, so I use the M as well. The = on each side is just added for effect, and kinda resembles how I sign my initials by hand.
But if you're looking for some metophorical meaning, I guess you could say TMP is the file extension for a Temporary File. In the Computer of Life, we are all just Temporary Files... there ya go.

I thought it was for "Temporary Member", since I'm sure you'll be banned soon.

The TMP is only the most badass gun in counter-strike, that used to be the first thing that popped into my mind when i saw TMP at the bottom of your posts.
Posted by Robert E. Allen (Member # 1351) on 01-24-2005, 03:09 PM:
Whew! Thanks Brad. For a minute there I thought I might be banned.
Posted by James Faber (Member # 2796) on 01-24-2005, 06:02 PM:
I wouldn't say that the TMP is one of the most badass guns in Counter-Strike, but, it's definately there.
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 01-24-2005, 06:11 PM:
Counter Strike is retarded. Real gamers play Residential Evil 4, Super Monkeyball and Space Harrier.
Posted by Mike Blakesley (Member # 26) on 01-24-2005, 06:34 PM:
"Residential" Evil? Sounds like a bad college drinking game.
