Now, we all know that Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the best candy available today, however recently they have spawned one of the worst, and most foul-tasting creation ever intended for human consumption. I'm talking about the inside-out Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I have never tasted anything more vile in my entire life(except for that one time...uh, we won't get into that). I'm curious to know whether any other unfortunate souls have gone to the conveince store and saw this, and thought it could be a good idea, only to find themselves vomiting in a strip club restroom 20 minutes later. Am I the only one?

What, it's peanut butter on the outside with a chocolate center? How would it taste any different? Or is it something else? I never heard of this... must not be in our part of the country yet.

I thought the Reese Cups made with white chocolate were just nasty.

And I LOVE white chocolate!

Regular Reese cups are the best.

Mike, the peanut butter to chocolate ratio flipped, so there is more chocolate (I think). Personally, I think they are pretty good, the white chocolate ones ar ok but I could only eat a couple before it gets to me.

I'm sure Aaron Sisemore qualifies as our resident Reeses Peanut Butter Cup expert. The stories I heard about one of his shifts at the Cinema II in Novato, CA consisted of him taking down an entire case of PB Cups. It's turned into legend over at Cinema West.

Have any of you guys sold or tried a candy called 'Overload'?

"The package contains three peanut butter cups, each with different different stuff lodged into the top of the cup. The first one had a chocolate chip cookie, the second one a bunch of Mini M&M's, and the third one a cookie similar to an Oreo."

They are gross. The cookie one tasted like [bs]

give me a white chocolate kit-kat anyday! If the inside out pb cups are anything like the new "skippy peanut butter bars", the pb is a strange consistency bordering on solid... kinda like that magic shell chocolate syrum for ice cream. I find myself to be a sucker for candy companies and soda companies that put out strange flavors. This could be a thread in its own, but I can't help but buy a bottle of Holiday Pepsi, or Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, or Diet Coke with Lime when I see them. They're not particularly good in any way, but they're different and novel.

Original is usually the best. And as for the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups... classic tastes the best. Candy that is put through the new and improved stages are not good. They usually rush to quick from the trial stages and send them out to the market with a blind eye.

Well the research and development of new candy technologies is usually rushed to meet the perceived demands of the candy bar market. Thus all of the scientists, engineers, designers, programmers, and strategists rush like mad to get things done before the other candy company does, hoping to sweep the market with "new" and "different". Since sequels are usually hastily made, they don't taste as good as the OG versions.

GOD BLESS Reese's. I used to pop a Reeses Mini cup each time I had a craving for a Cigarette when I quit 20 years ago. The substitution worked and I've stayed off them Demon smokes. Stopped doin the Reeses after 2 months and DIDN'T gain any more weight. GREAT STUFF! [Big Grin]

Well, the thing that is REALLY bad about the inside out PB cup is that, we all know that the PB in a cup is fake, but now the chocolate is fake, and it just doesn't taste right.

A couple of months ago Reese's had a limited edition PB Cup called, "The Big Cup". The Big Cup was basically 2 PB cups stacked on top of each other, and it was DELIGHTFUL. They were so freaking huge. I ate one every day until the store ran out, and now they are no more. Once, a buddy of mine and myself cut them up and ate them like pie, that's how damn big these things were....Well, they weren't that big, but we did cut them up, but only because we're weird like that.
