Rules:
- It must be a general thing, like a piece of paper, not specific, like the piece of paper taped to the monitor of this computer which says to go to the computing site in the basement for a real good time (or something like that).
- Each member has 20 YES or NO questions to figure out what the thing is.
- Whoever guesses the thing I'm thinking of gets to think of the next thing.
- When answering a question, put the question in a quote by clicking the "QUOTE" button in the "Instant UBB Code™" section and copying and pasting the question in between the quote tags.
- Keep a running total of each player's "questions remaining" following your answer.

Adam got it! It's a 3.5" floppy drive.
- It's not bigger than a baby's arm, provided that the arm is bent at the elbow.
- It's not an animal.
- It's not in my pants.
- It doesn't have wheels.
- It's not edible.
- It's an electronic device.
- It has a button on the front of it that ejects the disk.
- It can hold music/files (not much music, unless it's in midi format, or really super high compressed mp3/wma s).
- There's a LED on the front that lights up when the disk is being read.
- When it's reading a disk it makes a clickety sound.
So now the scores are reset and it's Adam's turn to think of something.

It is a scanner made by Canon that I bought from the local Wal-mart years ago for less than 50 bucks. Nothing special about it. Just plain and simple. Only attachment was the cable to the computer and the software that was installed.

All I can say is that its not a reel to reel tape recorder (though I wish I had one) or a key of any kind. It didn't cost me anything, but to buy one it would be less than $100 I believe. I don't have an answer to any of your other questions, sorry!

That was pretty much the logic I used. Plus the turntable doesnt plug into an outlet, it goes to a receiver that goes to the outlet. So I don't think I was wrong in how I answered really. Sorry for the confusion Mitchell.

By every dictionary definition I can find, anything that uses electricity in a controlled fashion is an "electronic" device. Look it up. Even the cartridge on the tone arm is an electronic device, as it generates electricity to produce sound. The fact that your turntable's motor gets it's electricity from a receiver rather than directly from a wall outlet does not alter the fact that it is an electronic device.
By your argument, a movie projector is not an electric device since the motor is an external object, and your lamp house is not an electric device since it gets it's power from an external rectifier. Give me a break.

Response has been so slow as of late...maybe it's time for the mods to put this thread out of its misery if things do not pick up.
To summarize the responses so far...
- It's a thing, larger than a loaf of Weber's Bread (or a loaf of any other brand of sandwich bread, for that matter) and smaller than a Maytag front-loader washer (or any other model of full-sized washing machine).
