Wow, there are alot of choices it seems out there. I have a Digitalway MPIO MP3 player. I would like to go with a service that #1 is compatible (WMA's are not compatible) and #2 has no spyware shit. I would really like access to rare dance remixes type stuff. Not just the 'radio' versions of everything.

Any suggestions?

WinMX can be a good source, unfortunately your more obscure music can be harder to find.
In fact, I couldn't even find E.S. Posthumus' Unearthed album on WinMX OR Amazon, OR anywhere else I googled up. I'll have to look again later.

I'm rarely interested in music downloads since I don't listen to current radio, but sometimes I'll get an old song stuck in my head or something and start to want it. Limewire works great for this. I usually have the entire pirated song on my desktop less than 30 seconds after I finish typing in the search criteria. The old Napster was pretty slow.

Funny Joe, I download BECAUSE I don't like current radio and this is how I hear new stuff that I hear about.
I use soulseek for that.

I have WinMX and Limeware on my computer. However, Kazaa Lite (K++ version) is still my preferred program.
