Various sources have reported tragic news: HALLOWEEN godfather Moustapha Akkad was one of the victims in the terrorist bombings in Amman, Jordan this past Wednesday, along with his daughter Rima. I actually thought that "Lion of the Desert" was very entertaining. However, someone (editor? lab?) made a bad decision to put the intermission in the middle of a reel, making it difficult to find.

That is sad to hear. He is now gone along with Halloween Producer Debra Hill who also passed on earlier this year. I had the pleasure of working for Debra on "Crazy In Alabama" a number of years back. She was a very interesting person and a pleasure to be around, not your typical producer by any means.
