Figures of Giuliano & Lorenzo de Medici looted from the Medici Tomb in Florence have been located in the Elk's Theatre in Saginaw, MI

Beyond the criminality of looting & the moral bankruptcy of the looting of artwork, the audacity of then putting them on display in a publicly accessible place like a theatre is just mind-boggling. They're busted now, though.

Great work, William.

We have not been able to isolate who these plaster replicas were. Now we know.

I am cerain that these would not be able to be outside as they are very fragile and, as you can see, the glaze is chipping off already.

Maybe they used the originals as patterns for these although I think these are much smaller than the originals.
