Time for your coming out: The Gay-O-Meter
I only scored 20%. "Too straight". Shit. I tried really hard.
Posted by Wayne Keyser (Member # 2420) on 07-14-2006, 10:37 PM:
You can do better...
Keep watching "Queer Eye", use more skin-cleansing products, next time you go to the barbershop buy some styling product, let yourself shed a tear at the end of "Sleepless in Seattle" or "You've Got Mail," and never EVER again say the words "How 'bout them [fill in the sports team]?"
You'll be gay before you know it.
Posted by Michael Schaffer (Member # 1204) on 07-14-2006, 11:09 PM:
Thanks for the good tips! I am sure you know what you are talking about. Wayne - that's a pretty gay name.

20%. Completely red-blooded hetero guy!
Posted by Joshua Waaland (Member # 287) on 07-14-2006, 11:42 PM:
Only 16%. Damn!! I am disappointed. I hate watching or talking about sports so I was SURE I was gay. Not to mention I am WAY more sensitive than most guys. I just don't fit in anywhere.

46%. It's so confusing being in the middle!

Heck...I must be REALLY gay then. I cried from start to finish watching those two movies.
I also kept thinking 'Please, kill me now...'
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 07-15-2006, 12:12 AM:
Some of those questions didn't make any sense to me. I never wanted to be a cowboy OR an indian when I was a kid. I hate both giving and getting flowers. And "Do you think good drivers make good lovers" was a yes or no question... one that I have absolutely no opinion on and I don't see a correlation between either. Needs better questions.
Anyway I got 23% most likely because I chose "cowboy" on that cowboy and indian question, and cowboys are considered gay due to that one gay cowboy movie, whatever it was called. But I choose cowboy because cowboys have guns and can murder people by shooting them point-blank in the face, which is hella fun. Indians cannot. Indians get conquered and their land stolen from them. Who the hell wants that? No, I'd rather shoot people in the face.

i scored a 60%..it says I'm a happy, well adjusted hetero babe.

Yes, Tim, but you cheated. We all know you have a sensitive side, with that graphics design and animations and stuff.

43%... eh. I need to watch more chick flicks.
Posted by Tony L. Hernandez (Member # 3524) on 07-15-2006, 01:03 AM:
100%! And that makes sense considering, well, I am all gay lol. Now the real question is why the hell did I just waste those last 5 minutes of my time?!?!?
Posted by Cameron Glendinning (Member # 3516) on 07-15-2006, 01:09 AM:
mmmmm 33% Gay!!!! & 57% sexpert!
Posted by William T. Parr (Member # 677) on 07-15-2006, 02:36 AM:
26% here
Posted by Ron Curran (Member # 3631) on 07-15-2006, 03:27 AM:
30%. I'm either too gay or too honest. My kid's schoolmates used to tell them that the bloke at the cinema was gay. "What? MY dad?" theyd say.
Actually, the sad thing about Sleepless in Seattle is that it almost parallels my experience. I lost my first wife to breast cancer and I fell in love with my present wife 2 years later but I was still grieving, so I wasn't a great husband for a while. I dare not seek a current review.
I am a bit of a wuss in sad movies. I just watched Eight Below and I could cope until the scientist saw his son's drawing of the dogs.
Snap out of it Ron! Cross threads.
Joe, I agree. People hate film. That's why they hate 70mm twice as much as 35mm!
Posted by Robert Burtcher (Member # 3227) on 07-15-2006, 03:31 AM:
50% here. I'm a happy and well adjusted homo guy!
I scored right where I thought I would... Seeing as I'm gay but not "Faaaaaabulous" and hate the flamers.
Posted by Robert Minichino (Member # 3495) on 07-15-2006, 08:16 AM:
Hrumph, 46%, I thought I'd do better.

Chipper is 56% Gay!
You're very open-minded between the sheets and just as balanced when out on the streets!
Posted by Chris Hipp (Member # 1788) on 07-15-2006, 10:55 AM:
23%
I like how they leave out the one question that matters, which is "when you masturbate do you thik about someone of the same sex or oppisie sex?"
Posted by Dennis Benjamin (Member # 1137) on 07-15-2006, 11:22 AM:
20 %
hmmmmm.......
Where did that 20% come from?

Yes, Tim, but you cheated. We all know you have a sensitive side, with that graphics design and animations and stuff.
Heh heh!
But, I answered the questions truthfully.
The only thing I cheated on was when they asked my name. I figured "Tim" would probably put me well over 100%, so I said it was "Rocco".
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 07-15-2006, 02:53 PM:
This is the stupidest thing ever.
quote:
BEFORE YOU TAKE THE TEST WE NEED TO KNOW THREE SIMPLE THINGS ABOUT YOU:
WHAT IS YOUR GENDER _MALE _FEMALE
DO YOU HAVE SEX WITH: _MEN _WOMEN _BOTH
Well DUH! Once you answer these questions, you don't NEED to take the test.
Then some questions don't have enough options.
quote:
DO YOU THINK GOOD DRIVERS TEND TO MAKE GOOD LOVERS?
_YES _DEFINITELY NOT
How about "I don't know/care", "maybe" or "this is a stupid question"?
This thing killed 5 minutes of my life and I didn't even get a lousy T-shirt with 26% on it.
Posted by Bruce McGee (Member # 131) on 07-15-2006, 04:00 PM:
Im only 36% gay. I always thought I was 100%. Its those damn trick questions about flowers and cowboys and indians. FOUL!!!

You mistyped. You meant "with 62%" on it.
If you don't think good drivers make good lovers or that the question is irrelevant, the answer is simply "no". It's not that complicated.
Posted by Chris Hipp (Member # 1788) on 07-15-2006, 05:51 PM:
Brad got 26%, figures. I mean, he does listen to Coldplay.
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 07-15-2006, 06:21 PM:
But does he have "Things" which is available via import or illegal download only?
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 07-15-2006, 07:35 PM:
?????????????
Ok Joe, I don't get it. Don't make me sick Shaniqiua on you by telling her that you are the one I am cheating on her with!
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 07-15-2006, 09:49 PM:
You don't have it! The song was given to me via e-mail by a Coldplay fan (well, I guess he is a fan if he is importing Coldplay CDs from Europe). I don't think Shaniqiua would like it, though.
Posted by Phil Hill (Member # 371) on 07-16-2006, 12:11 AM:
I think Michael nailed it about the reversal of Brad's score.
But remember, this "test" was developed in the UK where everyone is at least 26% gay.
(Ducking for cover)

As for drivers, remember the UK drives on the wrong side of the road anyway.
(hiding behind Phil... What a view!)

33%, but I live in the suburbs, work in the fancy part of Minneapolis. I'm naturally skewed when it comes to putting off signals.
Posted by Evans A Criswell (Member # 381) on 07-17-2006, 10:17 AM:
There was no point in me taking it because the results would be meaningless. The "Who do you have sex with?" question had no option for "neither". So anything I put would skew the results one way or the other.
I'm one of those who is difficult to categorize. Attracted to guys, but no desire to have sex. 95 percent of my guy friends locally are straight and I'm not sure about the female friends. There are far more bi females in my circle of friends than there used to be.
Posted by Tony L. Hernandez (Member # 3524) on 07-17-2006, 11:53 PM:
Am I really the only gay guy here who got a whole 100%!?!?! I didn't think I was that much of a flammer on the outside. lol
It is fun to know there are other gay and lesbian showmen and projectionists tho.
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 07-18-2006, 12:10 AM:
This site is almost 50-50 when it comes to gay/straight. Or at least for the regularly posting members, anyway.

Phil,
I admitted that I am a lesbian and this is what I got!
quote:
I always laugh when guys say stuff like "I am a lesbian in a man's body lol omg rotflmao!!!!!" What does that mean? It means that the guy secretly wishes he was a woman. It can mean NOTHING else. So Richard is confessing that he is actually a woman and has no male genitalia.
although i didnt say "lol omg rotflmao", whatever the fuck that means.

ROTFLMAO -- Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off

Oh just great....I'm 16%. Seriously, I am relying on you guys to be a little descrete here; you see, in Brooklyn -- land that time forgot -- you get your head beat in if the macho street corner hitters smell even 1% gay on you (that would be the scent of Lacombe Regenerist Treatment Creme) as you pass by them.
Brad it right -- the test is bogus. How can I be only 16% when I said up front that I slept with Both -- hey, what can I say, I am a flower child of the 60s and lived in a commune for awhile and did a lot of experimenting, not to mention the college I addended was all male at the time and reaked of testosterone which isn't all that discriminating in a locker room.
Besides, the thing didn't ask if "Both" meant just a few times when you were 18 or if it just so happened that there were girls there at the same time -- that's gotta count for SOME hetero points, no? Besides that was eons ago damn it -- I should be so lucky to get that kind of sex now that I had back then; I wouldn't care what they called it as long as I got me some. Or do they mean now, the present, when one has been exclusively hetero for decades? "Both" is but a sweet memory of my youth.
Then again, I would say at present I am exclusively hetero, but exclusive that is, unless of course when you are totally drunk
at a wedding party and some guy you don't know who looks like Jake Gyllenhall only better built, comes along and begs you to go to a storage room downstairs where he will do stuff for you that you can usually only get if you take your girlfriend out to dinner first and he promises never to tell anyone
....other than stuff like that, I would say now I am exclusively hetero.
As James Dean once said when the rumors were flying about that he was homosexual (the word "gay" back then just meant happy, not sexually fabulously happy) and a reporter asked him outright if he was homosexual; he said, "Well, I don't plan on going through life with one hand tied behind my back." ![[thumbsup]](graemlins/thumbsup.gif)
