The large "James Bond" sound stage at Pinewood Studios in England has been destroyed (or, at least, heavily damaged) by fire.

Didn't Kubrick also burn part of that stage down while filming "The Shining"?

I believe it was a stage at Elstree, rather than Pinewod, that burned during production of "The Shining." As a result, the fire delayed production on the next big film scheduled to shoot there: "The Empire Strikes Back."
