What's the deal with all these films about these sports coaches? Gridiron, Invincible (well not totally a coach film), Remember the Titans, the billy bob one, Glory Road, etc. It's getting as bad as all the remakes we're subjected to these days.

When I was in college studying to be a high school history teacher, people would ask me what sports I coached. When I told them "nothing", their response was simply "Well, how do expect to get a job?".

Maybe I should have gone into coaching. Then there would be one more based-on-true-events, bullshit sports film to piss you off Mike. [Big Grin]

My all time favorite "Coach" film is "The Last Picture Show" In the movie the Coach lets His star player Boink His wife (Cloris Leachman). Now THATS Motivation!! [Razz]
