A so called "Teaser Title" would seem to me to be exactly what you'd want to use to get the post read quickly and by as many as possible though some do stretch the issue a little. There isn't much uniformity in application, about as many get by as get nailed.

Well obviously, the title should have been (for example) "Film industry loses John Pytlak, a great man" but most any title can be a bit of a tease and still tell you what the thread is about. That's the test of a good headline.

I'm surprised R. Andrew hasn't come back and fixed it.
