My dad is retiring in January and as a combined Christmas/retirement present I'd like to do something special for him and send him to the Le Mans race in France in June, as he's a big car nut. I've found the official site for tickets to the event, but am wondering if there's package deals out there. Perhaps someone here has been in the past, or perhaps some of our European members can help me out?

Mike: Another possible event to look at might be the goodwood festival of speed. It's an amazing event where you can see 70s nascar rigs on the track at the same time as new F1s with a few bikes thrown in just for fun. A wild time for all. goodwood festival
