I have a DVD trailer that is in its original 1.85:1 ratio but within what looks like a 2.35 frame so it has the large amount of black top and bottom but also 'side masking'.
I need to make this image larger to fit our 1.85 screens (in 16x9) to make it look 'more normal'. I know it'll lose res, but I need it bigger anyway.
I've tried using Quick Media Converter but have had no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Running Windows, btw.
Thanks.

Oh man that is going to look awful on the big screen.
Can you upload the proper VOB file anywhere where I can do it for you on my strange "Mac" system? PM me the link when you get it uploaded.

You should be able to do this using VirtualDub. What formatt is the trailer in?

Hi Michael
It's all done, thanks anyway.

I did it in Final Cut Pro and as such the result is better than if he had a film copy.
