Anyone know of any good, easy to use, free (or at least free trial) software for creating a schematic or block diagram of a circuit? I don't need any fancy analysis, I just need to draw a block diagram.

Pencil, paper and templates? Easy, yes, cheap (and possibly materials you already have, yes.

Some PCB houses have cheap/free programs for schematic capture/PCB routing. www.4pcb.com (Advance Circuits) has such a program.
