December Films At The Landmark Loews Jersey

The Landmark Loews Jersey theatre located on Journal Square in Jersey City New Jersey will be running their final film shows for the 2008 season the next two coming weekends. The theatre is located directly across the street from the PATH subway station connecting Manhattan with Jersey City, and is easily accessible from all the areas major highways.

All movie shows are 35mm with Carbon Arc Lamphouses.

Friday 12/5/2008 at 8pm - DOUBLE FEATURE

You oughta take snaps of yourself doing the booth then post them here on FT so we can see you in action - running a classic changeover booth.

Mitchell,

Have they got the clock working again yet? Colin showed me the new hands on display in the lobby when I was there. It really does make a building look used when a clock is showing the right time.

There seem to be more people bringing live shows to the Loew's than there were a few years ago, or maybe it's the same people but they're bringing more shows than they were.

No, the clock is not yet working. Actually, the clock works, it just needs new hands fabricated and replaced. However, we now have all the decorative light bulbs under the marquee lit, so it does not look like an abandoned building when we are open.

Monte,

I have a lot of pictures of the theatre's booth and back stage that I keep meaning to burn to CD and send to Brad for the Film-Tech picture warehouse. Hope to get to that soon.
