I was hoping to see The Road next week, but I can't find any showtimes or listings in Colorado. Is it a limited release? Anybody know what's up?

Saw it in Telluride. It is going to have a very limited release schedule. Despite Landmark's 14-screens and the 3-Century plexes, Denver is under-screened for Specialty Film. Landmark knows it can book it any time it wants to.

The most interesting thing I found about watching The Road was the director describing how he found all the Post Apocalyptic landscapes he needed right here in America. We have a collage student/filmmaker working for us part time and he found plenty of Post Apocalyptic landscapes with in 50-miles of Denver.

Aha - your post got me to check out Landmark's site rather than Fandango/ Moviephones, etc.

It looks like it starts Wed at the Mayan in Denver.

Thanks!

Don't forget the Tamarac and the StarZZZ. Those types of films do very poorly when booked even if they are talked up in the newspaper.
