Bottom line: Radio is only for 13 year olds.

quote: Mike BlakesleyThat sounds like the type of music that prompted some famous rock musician (Tom Petty, I believe) to describe country music as "bad rock with a fiddle."
We have a country station -- KIKC, 101.3 FM and 1250 AM. The FM side plays the current country dreck that sounds like bad '70s rock, and the AM plays "classic" country dreck from the 70s.

When I was driving in LA mid last year, I was tuned to KKJZ, Long Beach, CA (FM - 88.1). Also known as K-Jazz, it seems to be a non-commercial entity, possibly tied to a college or university.
quote: Dennis BenjaminI'll give WLW props too. Mike McConnell and Bill Cunningham can be amusing, especially when the local sports teams are losing. WLW is one of the very few terrestrial stations I listen to anymore.
Also, I still tune in over the Internet to listen to my hometown favorites: WEBN 102.7 in Cincinnati and the almighty WLW -Home of the Cincinnati Reds.

quote: John WilsonI listened to this for about an hour last night, and really enjoyed it! I bookmarked the station and also fed a couple of hours' worth of their playlist into a new Pandora station as well.
It's nice to see that KGIL 1260 have gone back to that style of music and programming. Live stream of KGIL.
quote: Mike BlakesleyAll done, Mike. I just PM'd you.
JOhn - you ought to make some mp3s of those records and put 'em up somewhere. That'd be a fun listen.
It has been 526 days since the last post.
quote: John WilsonThx, John ... this is a great station!
If you're a fan of non-stop 80's music...
