Even playboy
3D everything this is getting out of hand.

quote:
CHICAGO - Playboy readers who can only imagine what it would look like if a centerfold jumped right off the page are getting new specs to help them see into Hef's world.

The magazine's June edition hits newsstands Friday equipped with 3-D glasses. Now the toy that has kids dodging dragons, meatballs and tall blue aliens at the movies will help adults focus on what is, at first glance, a very blurry Playmate of the Year.

"What would people most like to see in 3-D?" asked Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. "Probably a naked lady."

Hefner makes no secret of hoping to capitalize on the popularity of 3-D movies such as "Avatar" and "How to Train Your Dragon," even as he makes no secret of not quite getting what all the fuss is about.

"I'm not a huge enthusiast of 3-D," he said in a telephone interview. "I leave real life to go to the movies and 2-D is fine with me."

If the thought of grown men sitting back in their recliners with a pair of 3-D glasses doesn't quite say "Playboy," it should be noted that a few months ago the magazine put Marge Simpson — yes, the blue-haired animated mother of Bart — on the cover and in a two-page centerfold.

"In today's print environment you have to create newsstand events," said the editorial director of the Chicago-based magazine, Jimmy Jellinek. "Marge Simpson was one of those."

I remember buying a "scratch and sniff" Hustler about 25 years ago. It would've been much better if it was in 3D also.

They should've kept shooting fucking 6x7cm (2-1/4x 2-3/4") film instead of investing in trivial bullshit like this.

Playboy was one of the last skin mags shooting film. They actually interviewed one of their photographers in a magazie I subscribe to; said the less turned on you are, the better job you'll do. Kind of depressing if you think about it. . .

Anyway, I don't believe in spending money to see tits (at least directly) out of principle, so this really doesn't effect me. The effect of 3D for a still image is far more marginal than with a moving image.

Nobody has mentioned 3D porn yet. Its been around for decades. Be careful though. 3D porn may not be what its cracked up to be!!!

quote:
An American woman claims she became pregant after watching a 3D porno.

US military man Erick Jhonson came home from a stint in Iraq to find that his wife was pregnant. Clearly he assumed she had an affair, but his wife Jennifer claims the “other man” was actually someone a little less physical.

It seems he actually buys her story, however. “I see it as suspicious. The films in 3D are very real. With today’s technology, anything is possible,” he said.

What's even more interesting is that both Jennifer and Erick are white, but the child is black. Jeniffer claims the kid looks like the black pornstar she had been ogling. She also claims this was one of the first times she's watched porn and only went with friends for the 3D effect. TechEye did a survey of one person and found 100 percent would say the same thing in a similar situation.

“Even though my husband believed in me, my marriage could be at risk,” Jennifer said. “But he knows I’m faithful.” It just shows you what joining the military does to your head.

Jennifer explained that “a month after watching the movie, I started feeling dizzy and the results were positive.” That must have been one good porno.

3D movies have gained renewed popularity since Avatar, but there have been some concerns raised over how bad they may be for your eyes. Now you'll have to worry about conceiving in the cinema.

You may have jumped when an object in film was thrown at the camera, but now you'll have to be careful of other, far more uncouth things flying at you. TechEye recommends contraception for your next trip to the cinema. You never know.

Brad, d'ya think they got that article from some place like the Onion? Yeah, there are stupid people out there, but...

It sounds phony to me too, but the writing is definitely not Onion-caliber! [Smile]

I know this forum is about 95% male, but this makes me uncomfortable. I can only imagine how a woman would feel about it, even if it IS true.

I think this sort of comment should be kept off this forum. It's just not in good taste, even in jest. Women aren't dolls or clothing. And, ultimately, it's the male desire for that physical characteristic that has put these poor mixed up girls in the position where they choose to mutilate themselves in this way.

You don't like how women who have boob jobs and pose for Playboy are made fun of? What's offensive if the coconut halves (or larger round object) that are inserted underneath the chest skin in order to make these fake boobs. Reconstructive surgery as a result of breast cancer is OK, though.

Oh, and women belong in the kitchen!!!

Joe, you forgot to mention they belong in the bedroom also! And they should be topless with their BOOBS hanging out, both in the kitchen and bedroom [thumbsup]

Personally, none of this bothers me. Even a superficial look into the history of 3D will tell you that nudes and 3D have traditionally been a very popular combination, from the old stereoview cards to Bettie Page up to Playboy.

Even silent film star Harold Lloyd found the subject irresistable. A book of his work was published a few years ago.

I recall 3-D comic books and picture magazines in the fifties and they were not too bad. Although the reproduction was anaglyphic 3-D, they were wonderful especially the comic books. I will try to check out playboy magazine's 3-D image of the playmate of the month but i will not buy a copy to do that.

3d has been around forever its sad that people seem to ride these things like a roller coaster. 3d will be the rage then 4d then something new. next they will invent something like super bright and it will just be doubling the light on the screen and before you know it we will be back to hd again. With stupid crap like this again
HD vision

Link goes to amazon site with hdvision glasses which are basically a marketing ploy involving the words hd and vision.

Mr. Smith, You called me a dick, and yes, I am fucking five, oh and they all have BOOBS hanging out [fu]

Umm, yes, it was a pun, but you don't go by Dick ever???

Say boobs and tits all you fucking want to, but I don't like when women are talked about like rag dolls and objects. Women should be respected, not made fun of.

Of course, maybe if you haven't had a date in 5 years (dances and talking to girls don't count), the frustration level may be rather high. I am not making fun of you here, Richard; I am making fun of myself.

Jonathan, I hate to break it to you buddy, but you're in an argument you can't win.

Most of the people on here are men. It's like a bunch of guys in a bar. It's not church, forpetesake.

Projection is, at least traditionally, generally a boys' club. That's why there aren't very many women on here. It's not due to the tasteless posts. And the women are good sports, and they care about good projection, which is why all of us men like them.

If you start spewing forth holier-than-thou statements in a boys club, be prepared to have crap flung back at you. It goes with the territory.

Also, women and men should be respected the same. You don't hear a lot of guys griping about the Chippendales, do you?

Hooray for boobies! Tits are awesome.

I'm so inspired right now. I've never cooked topless, but I feel like I need to go home and bake a cake without my shirt on.

Should I feel offended that you think I should be offended, Jonathan? Hmmm...nope. I just don't care! [Big Grin]

Even when I'm in the bar, even when it's a barmaid, I don't talk like that when there is the possibility of women hearing it (or seeing it on here).

Yeah, I slip up and drop a few F-bombs around them from time to time at the bar, but there is beer to blame in that situation [Wink]

I'm uncomfortable with women on here having to read some of the comments, is all.

Barmaid? what bars do you go to? Around here they're called bar wenches [beer]

Richard; thanks a bunch, I just got that Holy Diver out of my head where it's been playing since reading the headlines at work... it's back again *shakes head*

oh what the heck

*shakes boobs too*

Let's just face it, this IS a male-dominated business and just to survive let alone love it as a girl you just have to have a sense of humour... and a healthy dose of self-irony. And yes, back to the topic, I am very curious to see what the 3D Playboy centerfold might look like. Not the girl [Roll Eyes] but the 3D...

Yeah, are they going to bind a pair of glasses into the magazine?

If they do, and they're the red/blue type, that will just suck. I want my Bunny boobies in living color. [Smile]
