I need to order a controller and a Smartmove from Baldor, I can't buy direct, which means I have to go thru a local distributer and I'll probably end up paying list price, I'd like to find it cheaper [beer]

ok, LIST price for the controller is $1670.00 My price from local dealer (Baldor, Not theater dealer) is $3003.77
LIST price for the Smartmove is $2506.00, local dealer price $4265.53

I won't pay more than list and am looking for a dealer to get a discount. [Smile]

Richard, Did you do a Google search? I have come up with a lot of Baldor distributors that way.

If you can post the specific part numbers I can check with my local dealers and see what price I can get for ya.

Thanks, I'm in the process of ordering them today through a contact Dennis Atkinson (shout out) gave me. I'm getting 1 part at $100 over list and the other at $700 under. The Baldor stuff was my only concern on this order. I know all of the people from the other companies that I ordered from.

Now the fun begins...shipping $20,000 worth of goods to China from my house. Think I'm on a list?

Good luck with that. We have some trouble and we have a long history of shipments and also an I.D. number for export.

As for baldor; any really good motor shop sells Baldor, usually at some kind of discount. Try cities Louisville-size or bigger. Better yet; try to make contact with the rep. Louis

We buy ours from a electrical wholesaler up here
you may also wantto checkout Carlo Gavisi controlers we have used a few of them and were happy with them as well as baldor
