A friend of mine got his first Hollywood job on Rock n Roll HS, one of the great trash movies of all time. We had breakfast with one of the Ramones (Dee Dee?) (and a groupie he was trying to get rid of) and the famous Dukes Diner below the now gone Tropicana Hotel (where Tom Waits lived at the time, and was also having breakfast).

Watch closely and you'll see Joey Ramone rarely takes more than 4 steps--he kept falling down.

Should have been a monster hit, but then, so should have the Ramones.

Allan Arkush originally wanted The Grateful Dead for the band, but couldn't get them.

"Fantastic Voyage" - one of the last movies from FOX to use the CinemaScope lenses.

Also - Raquel Welch in her first credited movie.

The last big movie for Stephen Boyd, whom then went on to smaller budget movies and TV movies with abruptly passing away in 1977 at the age of 49.

I saw this first in my hometown theatre (Paramount Theatre) that fall of 1966, which suddenly became one of my favorite Sci-Fi films (now own it on DVD).
