I found some old Screenvision 35mm commercials from the 80s for things like KOOL cigarettes. Do you think these would sell on ebay? I think they are pretty cool, but there's none on ebay, so I don't know if they just don't sell or there aren't many out there to sell...there's also an atari 3 one and a mattel intellivision one plus several more.

I worked in TV alot in the 1980s, so I didnt see many commercials in theatres, but back in the 1970's, the tobacco industry had to stop advertising on TV. Anybody know how long it went on in theatres? These old ads might be older than you think!

The Kool cigarettes one is from 1983. There's a letter enclosed with the film from Screenvision saying it had to be shown from July I through Aug 4. It also says "certified reports inc will conduct open theatre checks" to make sure they are being shown...also says not to exhibit with a G rated film...

There are people who would probably be interested in those!

Hello, representative of the Vogue Theater (I'm assuming?)!! How is it going? We need to check out your theater one of these days -- we were interested in purchasing it at one point, but the city owned it and was not interested in selling.
(I hail from the Harbor Theater in Muskegon)
