Leonard Nimoy directed 3 Men after directing and starring in Star Trek 4. There is a legendary "ghost" story involving a cut-out in a window in a scene from 3 men.
As for the first one, which I ran first run, "Where is your hand?"
"Between two pillows." "THOSE ARE NOT PILLOWS!"
And Steve Martin has a delightful moment at a car rental desk in an airport.

I truly love Trains Planes And Automobiles!
I keep thinking of showing it at my theater but everyone tells me it will die.I played The Breakfast Club recently and it only did so so.It used to be a real winner ,every few years things change so who knows...

I missed this post earlier!

I love Planes, Trains, and Automobiles! I remember watching it with my family when I was little, and they made us leave the room at the car rental scene. I remember having to go in my room and hearing crazy laughter. When I finally saw it when I was old enough, it was bliss.

An annual Thanksgiving tradition.

Lighten up, man! It's a holiday weekend....many people including myself have limited computer time.

My favorite bit in Planes, Trains is the part where Martin and Candy are sitting on the highway, contemplating recent events, when in the background you hear the "whump" of their car starting on fire. They turn around, look at it, and just turn back around and start chuckling.

That and the whole "I want a fucking car. Right. Fucking. Now." segment, beginning with the part where a truck runs over his hat.

I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but I remember running PT&A for the first time trying to work out why this thing was M rated (R to you guys probably) as there was nothing more than PG in it.

Then the Rental Car scene turned up. [thumbsup]
