one of the best ways to promote your theater and new movies is on face book.there you can monitor the responses, chat with your customer base and get instant feedback as to what your youth in your community think and want,,and the best part about it,its free.

A lot of cinemas are already doing FB advertising...with placing links to trailers, showtimes, promos and the like to their locations.

We have a facebook page. We don't get a whole lot of participation on it but a lot of people "Like" it. I saw another theater somewhere that did a "First 5 comments on this post get a free ticket!" promotion that might be fun to try. Of course all the comments are things like "Me!" and "Me too!"
