There is no official word if The Amazing Spider-Man is in 7.1, but when I saw it for the second time at the Ziegfeld, it clearly sounded like 7.1. Like in the title screen, you can hear the web shoot at the title from the back surround speakers. I also noticed more effects that assured me it was in 7.1, but I've looked up online and no one confirmed the sound mix was in that format.

Is there anyone showing this film that can confirm it's available in 7.1?

The DCP that I have is 5.1.

Sony's only 7.1 release so far has been the 'Underworld Revolution' movie - hope they release more in the future.
