Obviously my one theatre on a Friday can not necessarily predict what will happen nationwide over the full weekend. But we literally had 2 people see Legends of Oz on the opening day. I have a feeling this movie is going to give The Oogieyloves a run for their money.

Its currently tracking for around $4 million for the weekend.

We did 35/51 on Friday/Saturday.

For comparison, on our next lowest performing kids flick we did 150/176 - Friday/Saturday for The Nut Job.

Oz is in 8th place, grossing $3,705,000 on opening.

A flop, but not Oogieloves-legendary.
