Can someone here please the summarize the current restrictions and requirements to meet, if any, to have public television over the air, cable, internet streaming, etc. content on display in a theatre connected bar and food venue. Or, does "just do it" apply here as may be the case of televisions seen in corner convenience stores and gasoline stations and other public occupancies?

Thank you, Paul Finn

I serviced theaters in Wyoming that even had Super Bowl parties on screen. There was no charge for admission, but there was an up front charge for the food and beer. They claimed that it was legal to do it this way. Far as I know they still do this.

Google found this:

I'm not a lawyer, but it appears that the people who wrote this are. Unfortunately, the answer is an annoying mess of screen size, square footage, and music licensing limitations.

It looks as if the easiest solution is to get a "commercial" cable TV subscription and pay extortion fees to the music licensing agencies.
