Hey everyone, My name's Kion and I work at a very small cinema in Norway.
We have not recieved DCP's yet but for our cinema, we will be getting a 2D Version: 2D 5.1/7.1 & Atmos 4K (base version). Disney has confirmed with some of our partners and other cinemas that they'll get the following:
    • 2D Versions:
      • 2D 5.1/7.1 & Atmos 4K (base version)
      • 2D 5.1/7.1 & Atmos, 4K, HFR (High Frame Rate)
    • 3D Versions:
      • 3D 5.1 & Atmos, 2K, 3.5 FL
      • 3D 5.1, 2K, 6 FL
      • 3D 5.1/7.1 & Atmos, 2K, 3.5 FL, HFR
      • 3D 5.1/7.1 & Atmos, 2K, 6 FL, HFR
      • 3D 5.1/7.1, 2K, 9FL, HFR
      • 3D 5.1, 2K, 14 FL, HFR
Our rep also confirmed with us that the film is 2hrs and 17 minutes. I see everywhere else it's listed as 2:15 so i'm not sure if that extra 2 minutes is for a very special trailer or first look directly attached to the film : ). (There have been some rumors swirling around out there)

Anyway, hope this helps, take care!!

Are you sure that explicit 7.1 VFs will be available? AVATAR 2 had only 5.1 and ATMOS versions.

our IMAX GT Laser 2k 48fps 3D 12 channel sound dip is 620gb. can't imagine what size 4k is for the dolby venues

My 3D houses received the 24fps and 48fps 4FL version, but I've also requested the 14FL 3D 24fps and 48fps HFR versions from our Booker. We also got the 48fps version in 2D, which is what I plan on running in our standard houses in scope aspect ratio.

Our sister theater received the 2D 24fps version in scope, but I've requested the 2D 48fps version in scope and flat to fit the screens at that theater as there is no masking over there. Or 3D - we were averaging 1-2fl with the Z-Screen attached to our 1202 and 1402 NEC laser projectors so I advised against it and we returned our equipment.
