    Cinemex Filing for Bankruptcy

This is fresh news, and WGN has been reliable in the past but Googling this only brings up the 2002 bankruptcy. Anyone else heard anything about this?

    This is Cinemax, not Cinemark.

Bloomberg News reports the owner of CMX Cinemas movie theaters has assets that estimate between $100,001 to $500,000 with less than $50,000 in estimated liabilities, according to filings.
They have 28 locations, according to the article.

Seems like a tiny value for the assets of 28 theatres, though.

I'm guessing that the sites are all rented (i.e. the company doesn't own any real estate), but even allowing for that, agreed.

EDIT - title corrected so as not to confuse CineMEX with CineMARK.
