Yes, Ed, you do get more respect when you turn 20. Sad, but true. But I know how you feel. Back when I worked for UA, I was told by an executive at the company that I looked like a little girl, and why was I running projectors. I told him I was nineteen, but that didn't seem to help. Stereotypes suck! I still have to prove myself over and over in this industry because of the stereotype that "little girls can't run big machines". My advice is to continue to rise above it, and accept it as a challenge to be the best you can.
