What is the round thing on the wall in the center of the photo? Is it a fan? What about the round thing at the top? A still, as opposed to a frame blowup. The big round thing in the center is a monitor loudspeaker. No idea what's up above it. If it's a staged shot (most likely) it could be anything. We get our stuff from Queensboro Custom Shirt Company. They have great stuff and the logos are embroidered. You upload the logo and then there is a program on the site that allows you to change thread colors at will so if you choose a shirt that's navy blue, you can have the logo look one way, but on say red shirts, you can choose diffent colors so it will contrast well on the background shirt color. Plus the shirts are very good quality and of course embroidering is much more long-lasting that stencil screen. And the prices are incredible -- our last batch of polo shirts with collar and were $10.00 each -- you can't get shirt of that quality WITHOUT the logos for that price. In fact, I personally bought a half a dozen shirts for myself without logos. And get this -- you can order as few as FOUR shirts and the first logo set-up is free. Different logos after that cost a one-time set-up fee of $25. And no, I am not affiliated with this company in any way whatsoever, other than a very happy customer who works for a nearly broke non-profit so the good prices were the diffence between having an identifying "uniform" or having them dress in all manner of cloths. Here's our embroidered logo: One of the venues I work hasn't seemed to yet know that air conditioning has been invented yet. I am always sweating in that booth, but it has that wall-to-wall glass window instead of ports, so I have to wear a lot more than just a tee-shirt. I saw a chef's jacket in a uniform store and they have to deal with heat yet look "dressed" same as my glass wall booth. What they have a very light jacket. In the back, it has a mesh so even tho the front looks very dressy, you're practically naked in the back. We recently had 60 shirts made for our WWII vets at an incredible rate. On that Vitaphone booth picture: Isn't that a reproducer to the left of the projector? The free-standing thing with the book on top. Looks like a tone arm hanging on the right side. And the guy on the left appears to be holding a disk. It is probably pre-vitaphone because AFIK later machines had the reproducer attached to the projector base.  |  IP: Logged
