Sounds like the Film-Tech gathering might be fun. I'll need to get the specifics about when/where it is happening. I'm not sure if I can get that day off or perhaps work half a day to be able to make the 200 mile drive and not miss out on everything.

I hope I can time out that meeting along with my upcoming week long vacation in Colorado. I'll have to try to get up to Denver during that time and meet up with Joe Redifer. One of my high school classmates from Virginia lives in the area.

My home computer is going to be down perhaps for the next couple days, thanks to a 80GB hard disc that is fixing to toast itself. I got all the data I want to keep off the thing and my warranty is still good, so it is just a minor inconvenience. Anyway, I could be out of the loop for the next couple days until my system is restored. If you still need to get through immediately, send notes to my work address: bob at arrowsign.com --I spelled it out in case spam bots can go through these forums. I can handle spam on my home DSL account. Spam on dial-up at work really sucks.

Hey...That's great news, James. We will all be happy to see you.

This is going to be a great vacation, and Josh and I are really looking forward to meeting all of you.

William, we will be pleased to have you there with us.

I owe much thanks to Ken Layton. He is the one who steered me to Film-Tech. If it were not for Ken, I would never have had the opportunity to meet or associate with such a great bunch of people.

Thank you, Ken.

The trip is just right around the corner. I'll probably be off line Friday night until I get to North Dakota. However, if there is anyone else who would like to invite us for a short stop, we'll see if we can make it.

Josh's dad is going to let us take his laptop with us so we can check our email and Film-Tech to see what is going on, and I will have my cellular phone that will ring no matter where in the USA we are. That number is (360) 929-3152.

We will be happy to hear from you, and will be looking forward to seeing you.

Thanks to you all.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who are coming to Dallas for this gathering. I think we are all going to be amongst great frends our industry. Again, thank you.

Brad, Josh and I would like to specifically thank you for your support, and allowing us to put this tread in the Film Handler's Forum for the best coverage.

See you soon.

Paul & Josh

Thanks for your invite, Dick. However, I am going the I-90 route out of Seattle. I will be leaving Saturday morning so I can be in Fargo, North Dakota Sunday afternoon or early evening. Maybe sometime when I go to Wendell, Idaho; Denver, Colorado; and Salt Lake City to harass John, Mark, Dave Williams and Joe, I'll be more than happy to stop in and say hello.

Mike, if I can get the road timing to Forsyth, Montana correct, I might be able to stop in again at your theatre. This time I will buy the coffee and lunch.

Paul:

The new lamphouse, power supply, and speakers arrived today at the 7th Street theater according to Matt.

Have fun on your trip and don't forget to look for 'goodies' to snag.

Josh & Paul;

Welcome to Omaha! Sorry I'm not there to meet you -- as you get settled into the hotel I'm just about to head for the airport in Tokyo for the return trip to the States. I won't arrive until about 6:30 PM Tuesday, though, and probably not overly social after the trip...

Hopefully you'll reach Rick Salts at Ballantyne and he, Troy and/or Dan will give you the grand tour.

Sorry I missed ya, unless you find a reason to stick around until Wednesday. Omaha does have a pretty good zoo...

Travel safe, guys.

Dick -- thanks for the invite, would love to get to the Northwest again and I'll consider the invitation open, okay? Meanwhile, the same goes the other way as well -- when I'm in town, that is.

Pat
