The "T2" THX trailer appeared on DVD nearly a year before "Cavalcade" was made available. My favorite THX trailer is still "Cimarron." I wish I had it, but once I saw someone who made a custom THX trailer on the web that consisted of X-Wings flying through trenches with TIE's chasing. The camera eventually zooms out to reveal the trenches form the THX logo. VERY COOL! I know that most of the footage in Dolby Rain is live-action photographed at super-high speed. I'm betting that DTS Sonic Landscape is live-action, too. I'm only suggesting the CGI route for a new DTS trailer since it fits in with the "culture" or "style" of sound format trailers. If DTS can come up with a cool trailer concept that is live-action based, that would be just fine as well. Please note my suggestion for a THX trailer involving a live action super-telephoto shot of a C-5 Galaxy flying down the runway at the viewers and taking off for a massive flyover sonic blast (belive me, this is a thrilling experience when you witness it for real ).  |  IP: Logged Daryl C. Not only would it be a cool snipe, it could be used at the end of boring shows to wake people up. I'm sure it'd work... I had one wake me up while sleeping at the end of the runway in Oshkosh one year. Almost as fun as the pack of T-5's blowing by me on final. The ATOS has a listing of all of the known Barton Organs on their web site. The one at the Temple Theatre in Saginaw Michigan is in its original playing condition with all of its original pipes and parts. As original as they come. The Temple Theatre is currently undergoing a complete 7MILL RESTORATION. I will post a series of photographs when the work is complete. First film after restoration "White Christmas" on the week end after Thanksgiving 2003. The Temple has a new DTS6 AD sound system. KEN  |  IP: Logged Mark J. Yes it is all live action. I like it actually. I know some here are tired of it already, but I like it, and everyone who works in the theater where I work likes it.
