"One part replacement" is easy. Simply unbolt sound head from hanger and projector and replace. Oddly enough though, it's been almost 10 years since I last had a gear box go in one. Maybe it's the slow starts and ~10 minute warm ups, or maybe it's the fact that I keep a spare gear set in my trunk at all times.
