I've thought about taking a show on the road, & have stuck at the pedestal. What other solutions for pedestals "portable" use with full-size projectors have folks used?" _________________________________________________________________ Have done this literally hundreds of times using 5 point bases. They come apart into bite sized sections that are extremely easy to carry up dozens of flights of stairs. For the last ten or so years I've used a pair of Simplex LL3 bases that are intenally wired for C/O, etc. and a pair of Centurys and Super Lume-x's, CP55, etc. I can set these up and have them running on location in an hour or so. Our cinema chain has been using 3 JGS for 5 years in a cinema in Eastern States , they are still going well as of today. What bits need to be removed before moving these things? The lamphouse is detachable via alinement pins and two thumbbolts to breakdown into an easy to transport portable.
