The machines are chain driven from the sound head. Each has ORC 1000 lamphouses which are left on during the entire show. The Preview Theatre, where we go for many trade screenings in Seattle, has a changeover pair... 7500s for analog and a CP650... all of which work just fine.  |  IP: Logged Paul G. It looks like a block of crap with a hole in the front and an elephant must have sat on the top of the casting. Scott, as far as I know, there is a single mama and papa house on Bainbridge Island (Across the water slightly northwest of Seattle.) The old Strand Theater in Manitowoc, Wisconsin was equipped with Motiographs when I was a teen-ager. I think Mark changed them out when Don upgraded to multi-plex operation. I had to get him on the screen sometime ago...the 7500 blew a motor. Bearings froze up.  |  IP: Logged Robert E. Not to the level of the big GK21 Kit but still impressive and very quiet running. Also if it has any perfs left on it they will play it unlike many other machines out there. As Gordon says Kelmar makes a reader for this. Sound quality is actually pretty good. The film does weave back and forth on the drum a bit but no real problem.
