...kinda why I don't like the threading layout for the Mil2000 machine.

Being that they raised the upper constant speed sprocket up 2 inches due to the taller build of the case to allow the turret to swing around without opening (like it used to be with the 1050 units)the turret housing.

With this sprocket being raised and not being moved forward as well, whoever builds the upper loop a bit too tall, the upper loop slaps against the top corner of the band and will cause excessive wear on that corner. Had to replace a good dozen bands due to this wear.

Here's a pict of the result of "tall" upper loops.

..sad thing is that the body of these bands were still in great shape with plenty of the steel thickness. And these bands could have stayed in service for a good couple of more years if it wasn't for the loop height factor.
