"I wonder if The Master had any attached 70mm trailers."

They were SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK and KILLING ME SOFTLY. As THE MASTER was 70mm 1.85 these trailers were letterboxed to 2.39 within the 1.85 frame. They still looked great, however.

In addition to Silver Linings Plabook and Killing Them Softly, Disney printed 70mm trailers for Lincoln.

Besides trailers, how about short subjects? I know of two that were promotions for the Todd-AO 70 mm film process. One of them was shown with OKLAHOMA. I never saw it because Honolulu did not get 70mm until SOUTH PACIFIC opened.. OKLAHOMA had a overture and I am curious how they managed to show the promo Todd-AO short. I would have to assume the curtains closed at the end of the short and the house light turned up a bitt when the overture played.
