Its a simple circuit and I could make you one if I get the prototype working. I will try to upload a circuit schematic.... It worked! In the meantime, if you have any luck please share it with me.. I just got a copy of that LP and the rumble track is not "just" the rumble. Its 2 minutes and 42 seconds of rumble plus screaming, tyre screeches, mooing cows, bell-ringing, horns honking and other stuff that went on in the movie.... They said that several rows of seats in each auditorium at a multiplex were being fitted so that they could rumble with the bass track. There'd be one speaker per 5 seats in the row or something, and during things like explosions in the Bond movie, the seats would shake along. I seem to recall the article being titled "Movie-goers have been missing out on something: There seats have not been rumbling". When there's a lot of bass noise, such as an explosion or something crashing down, I do feel a small vibration in the seats. Still, it would be better with a proper seat vibration system... When I saw Godzilla, there was a lot of bass on each footstep of the monster - causing you to 'feel' the footsteps rather than hearing them. Regarding Sensurround, the Museum of Film and Television (Bradford) used to have a Sensurround exhibit. You'd stand in a small alcove, with two of the Cerwin Vega speakers mounted in the ceiling. The rumble (alone, no other sounds or music) would then be played through those speakers and you'd feel rather than hear it.
