Author Topic: Film Handling Gloves Scott Christopher Film Handler Posts: 69 From: Adelaide, South Australia Registered: Apr 2001 posted 03-09-2008 05:45 AM                     so you're only using gloves to allow the film to glide through your fingers or to protect your fingers? I don't use gloves to make-up/break-down prints - and yes, I have tried wearing them. My fingers are fine and I've been at this job for approx 15yrs. The trick for me was not to apply too much force to the film and don't try to wind too fast. I only handle the tape with a bare finger not the film and yes if I have to make a repair to film I put the gloves on.  |  IP: Logged
