Sadly, I've found none of the DTS trailers "friggin' awesome" so there's probably not much chance of that.
Whatever the reason, moving away from the DTS trademark was a bad idea. DTS is enjoying a huge amount of brand awareness as a result of Blu-ray, which bolsters the 17 years of presence in the commercial theater and home theater market, and just as digital sound on film is waning in importance, they change the brand for the theatrical market.
Combine that with a seeming lack of ability to create interesting sound trailers, the lack of interest among theaters in playing them, the inability of theaters that are interested to get them, and the trend towards lossless multi-channel sound on digital cinema, and you gotta wonder where they're headed with this effort?

Same direction the entire industry is heading I'm afraid... as I noted in THIS THREAD, SEE PAGE 2.
quote: Me, from that other thread Sadly, with the dreck coming out of Hollywood, the anti-piracy campaign that made the PAYING CUSTOMERS out to be the criminals and the downgrading of image quality on both film prints and DLP, the industry continues its self-destruction with no signs of it stopping.
Honestly I have never seen a business model so bent on killing off its customer base.
Even sadder to me since I have ALWAYS had great support from DTS and generally endorse their products highly.
