Well I've been perusing this set over the past few days. It includes 2 of the Bugs/Yosemite Sam toons that I've been pining for ("Knighty Knight Bugs" and "Sahara Hare") and that Porky Pig "Son of a gun/Son of a bitch" clip is included. It's not part of "Bugs Bunny Superstar" like I thought, but is a separate item called "Porky's Breakdowns."

Lots of Frank Tashlin pictures - (a whole disk's worth) and disk 4 is devoted to toons featuring cats (but not Sylvester). They're really getting into the nitty gritty now!

Now my wish list includes: The Marvin Martian cartoons (there are only a few, and one or two have already been included on previous sets) and "Captain Hareblower," probably the funniest Bugs/Yosemite battle ever.

Bugger just putting cartoons back in the cinemas, for almost $20 bucks a ticket these days, I want at least a newsreel, a cartoon a serial and a double feature.

Why a newsreel when you can get news 24/7/365? A movie theatre these days should be a place to escape the news.

Now to my annual gripes about this new set. I can't believe they didn't include "Beanstalk Bunny" on the "fairy tales" disk. It's a hilarious Bugs/Daffy/Fudd entry.

And there are still a few great Yosemite Sam classics missing, most notably "Captain Hareblower" which is probably the most violent of all the Sam/Bugs confrontations. Maybe that's why they keep skipping it....LOTS of cannon blasts to the face.

I want more more Wile E/Roadrunner, please. The rest of the Bugs/Marvin Martian stuff. And a couple more of the Wolf/Sheepdog toons. Oh well, maybe next year...

I'm still waiting for "Captain Hareblower" and "Sahara Sam." There's not enough Yosemite Sam on disk yet.
