It shouldn't be any worse quality (or better for that matter) than the "watch instantly" option you can do through your browser. So check it out and if you both like that quality enough and want it to be on your TV then get the device.

My Samsung BR player has the Netflix streaming built in and it produces quality at or near DVD.

I think it's great. I use the 360 version and have no problems thru my dsl modem and wireless router (hard wired to the 360).

Ditto. We've started using the XBox 360 version and it is great.

p.s. They're currently streaming the full theatrical version of Grindhouse, something that is not on American DVD yet.
