I called Regal Atlantic Station (Atlanta) because I noticed on their website absolutely no distinction between the IMAX showing at the Mall of GA location(which has both digital and film) and the Atlantic Station location when it says you can watch The Dark Knight Rises - THE IMAX EXPERIENCE. So the Atlantic Station guy tells me it is real IMAX. I sarcastically tell him "so it's 15/70 film based, not digital?" He replies "Oh we show digital too in the other auditoriums". I tell him that I am asking about the difference in IMAX formats themselves, not about regular digital showings. So then I told him "look , Mall of GA has real IMAX. Did you guys upgrade your IMAX since the last time I saw the mini IMAX for Mission IMpossible 4. He then says "no, that's the same IMAX" . So I told him that he needs to be clear with people who will mistake the two IMAXs.
