Mark, The issue of XPe support, be it 2012 or much later (Which I believe it is) is no problem. Like all DCI players, the system they built it on the day they started is the system it will stay on for the life of the product. Remember it is tested and made sure to work, be reliable and secure. Any upgrades, be in XPe or a Linux type would require re-certification in some way.
For example, there is a BUG with the Linux based DCI players and Inode-table sizes. Makes some DCP drives not work.
Microsoft will be selling XPe it a VERY long time to come. Especially for the Banks machines, Petrol Pumps and millions of other embedded systems using ti around the world.
Please do not muddy this issue with FUD like this.
Also, "Brendan Penny" or should I say "Nick Perry", keep it up and get banned again under your fake name..
