What's with the "secret software" and crap? That's one of the things I don't like about some manufacturers.
Anyway, does anybody know what lamps the NC2000C can use? In the brochures it only talks about NEC's own 4KW model.
It surely can use other lamps, can't it? A 4Kw lamp would be too bright for one of the intended screens (though it would be ok if it could be driven at 2800W or so, if supported by the rectifier).
Also, how does the lenses work on this model? Do you need the optional motorized wide converter to do scope right, or does it come with motorized zoom standard?
I'm guessing it only needs the wide adapter if you fall outside the range of one of their lenses' zoom, right?
I can't believe how little information they place on their page and how they keep all this "super secret stuff" like ... errr, an operation manual for download.
Barco is starting to look good again, in spite of their backlog ...
