In a competitive market complaints to the studios often get looked at
Yes but today, it looks like none of the exhibitors really care. No qualified projectionist, equipment that is poorly maintained etc etc.

IMAX on the other hand at least has some control over their product and if I am correct, IMAX digital is monitored in real time from Mississauga Ontario.

Isn't everyone that's on a VPF monitored by some sort of service similar to that one?

edit: Nevermind. I realize you're responding specifically to the Ontario reference.

Saw and (sic) IMAX Digital presentation this evening. I thought it was outstanding with no issues and it made my experience worth the money.
So how was the Dark Knight Rises prologue?

Wow, this is a rough room! Some F-Ters on the rag this month? In a season of good-will-toward-men, this thread decended into viscousness the likes of which I haven't seen before in a matter of a few posts.

I thought flaming and ad hominem attacks were a violation of the F-T Prime Directive #1.

Let's take a deep breath and lighten up.

This thread itself is a flame, in my opinion, even if Tom gets ragged on more than deserved at times.

It was created to show his personal experience at an IMAX theater and voice it as being good. As mentioned, we already have a thread for that (which he posted in saying much the same).

No prologue. I don't care anyway, I don't like trailers before a movie and they just give away too much of the movie anyway. A 6 minute preview just ruins the movie IMO. Also nowadays the studios cut an A, B, and C trailer and it is just way too much.

Don't worry boys, I expected a response like this. It is sad that some people just can't accept that some people might like IMAX Digital.

Tom, the point is that you didn't need to make a new thread. The other thread isn't called "I don't like IMAX Digital". You made this thread and titled it appropriately just to ruffle the feathers of people here and now you have even admitted it. It's exactly the kind of thing you do, for you are a troll. You and Mark Gulbrandsen would get a long very well together, for you are both huge trolls. If you were truly interested in discussion of the topic, you would have posted it in the other thread (which you did anyway), not create this unnecessary new thread and wouldn't be marred by this troll talk. You are a troll. It's what you do. It's who you are. Tom the Troll.
