Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 11-18-2012 01:56 PM                     If you want to get it up and going remotely today...just add the second subnet to the TMS. That is, go to your TCP/IP (IPV4) of the TMS and, for the "advaced>add" put in the 192.168.10.6 or whatever with the 255.255.255.0 subnet (NO GATEWAY). That should allow both networks to be visible to the TMS. The downside of reconfiguring the DCinema stuff is making sure EVERYTHING gets reconfigured. There are actually THREE (3) NICs on a GDC SX-2001. ETH0, ETH1 and the Security Manager (SM) above the HDSDI ports. If you have an IMB, you would not have that one. If you don't have an IMB and you aren't yet hooked up to the SM....you will be eventually! Long-term fixing it in the router is the best solution. That will also allow you to put the server on an NTP server too. Though silly (due to the extra complication and cost), you could always put a router between the DCinema equipment and the Verizon router to allow the separate IPs to co-exist.  |  IP: Logged Richard May Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1057 From: Floral Park, NY USA Registered: Aug 2004 posted 11-18-2012 04:02 PM                     I'm going to have to go there and try and figure this out. I tried adding the second IP and subnet in the advanced tab, but it won't let me add anything while in the auto IP mode...... Update..........Thanks again guys. Here is what I ended up doing. I had to set the manual IP to 192.168.1.16 in the computer. I then had to set the submask to 255.255.255.0 then set gateway to 192.168.1.1 then DNS to 192.168.1.1. Only then did it allow me to add a second IP which I set to 192.168.10.6 and submask 255.255.255.0. Now everything is working properly. I couldn't have figured it out without you guys.
